 | 21st Aug 1959 to 27th Aug 1963 | 01 Black and White Nostalgia
This collection is an introduction to my photographs taken from 1959 to 1963.
They moved house with me at least 30 times over 4 decades, along with the notebooks telling me what they were, and now I have scanned them using an Epson flat bed with film attachment, followed by processing in Photoshop.
And now I've got a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV film scanner, I will have to scan them all again. It will be worth the effort - the improvement in quality is amazing.

 | 28th Jun 1959 to 28th Aug 1963 | 08 The Diesel Revolution
When I saw the first BR Pilot Scheme main line diesels in 1957 I didn't realise what impact that would have on steam. These scanned 35 mm photos show some of the successful and unsuccessful types that shared duties with steam in the early 1960's.
